What Weather Underground offers
The official Weather Underground listing on the App Store describes forecasts that combine data from more than 250,000 personal weather stations with its own forecast model, interactive radar with satellite, heat maps, and rain accumulation, severe weather alerts for your exact position, widgets, and extended forecasts up to 15 days with a premium subscription. The listing says the app includes ads, with WU Premium at $3.99 a month or $19.99 a year and an ad-free option at $1.99 a year. It requires iOS 14 or later.
Where Bold Weather starts
Bold Weather shows the forecast for your location in large type with a plain sentence, and it has no ads at any tier. Its radar shows rain and snow with large controls and a sentence about what is coming, rather than a set of map layers.
