How can I try the app?
Bold Weather is in TestFlight testing for iPhone. Email humans@itrtr.com with the subject “Bold Weather TestFlight” and we’ll send you an invitation. Read about the beta.
Is it only for seniors?
No. It is for anyone who prefers larger text on an iPhone. A reading preference does not imply a particular age or eyesight.
Does the text grow with my iPhone settings?
Yes. Bold Weather follows your iPhone text size, including the larger accessibility sizes, and respects Bold Text. The temperature and today’s summary start large even at the standard size. The iPhone text-size guide explains where those settings are.
Where does the forecast come from?
Forecasts, radar, and alerts come from official sources. Every alert names the agency that issued it, such as the National Weather Service or Environment Canada. Read about alerts.
Does the app show radar?
Yes. Bold Weather has a radar map with large play and pause controls and a plain sentence that says what is coming. Read about the radar.
Can it read the forecast to me?
Yes. A Speak button reads today’s forecast aloud, and every screen works with VoiceOver. Read about read aloud.
Are there ads or an account?
No. Bold Weather has no ads, no account, and no tracking. Weather and map requests use the places you choose. Read about privacy.
Can I check the weather where my family lives?
Yes. Save several locations and switch between them from the top of the screen. Read about saved locations.
Is this the App Store version?
This is the TestFlight beta. The App Store release date and final pricing have not been announced.
Which iPhone and iOS version do I need?
Bold Weather needs an iPhone with iOS 18 or later. The TestFlight invitation lists the requirements for the available build.
How do I share beta feedback?
Send feedback through TestFlight or email the team. Describe the screen you were using and what you expected to happen. Your iPhone model and text-size setting can also help.
